It was about a year ago when I met this awesome couple. Dating at the time, they came to help out our new church in San Francisco with our church picnic. Then as months pass, Ryan and I kept seeing them everywhere. In places you don’t normally see people. We figured it was meant for us to hang out! So we did… and they are awesome. Have you ever seen those TV commercials about “This most interesting man in the world”?. Well Bart is pretty much that guy. You should hear some of his stories, they are nuts (in a very cool way). During that time they found out I was a photographer and how stoked was I when they decided to book me as their photog when they got engaged! Remember their super fun engagement session at AT&T Park and all of SF? They got married at the beautiful Clos LaChance Winery in San Martin. You just can’t get these kind of venues back in Arkansas. I am beyond thankful to photograph gorgeous couples at gorgeous venues. I probably should have split this into 2 post… but decided to do them all at one! Enjoy!
Lets start of with this loveliness!
Cassie and Bart originally weren’t going to see each other before their ceremony to do what we photogs call a “First Look”. I did try to persuade her a bit, but never push too hard as its totally up to the bride/groom how they want their day to go. Well.. after she saw one of her BFFs (Lindsay) do it, she saw how beneficial and special that moment can be. After Bart saw Cassie for the first time he told me “It’s like we got to have 2 special moments on our wedding day instead of 1”. AMEN BART! Just wait till you see his reaction to her walking down the aisle. Priceless.
Anyways… because of that we were able to get some awesome bride & groom portraits.
Posted this one on my facebook fan page a few days ago. You should go “Like” my page just for fun!
Favorite for sure!Absolutely mastered the “dip” pose. You’d be surprised how hard it is to do this and make it look good. Ha!Also a fav! Is this not GORGEOUS!
Yes so is this!OK.. moving on from being in the vineyard. Cassie is an absolutely gorgeous bride. They love oak trees. So we had to have lots of trees in our photos! How gorgeous are Cassie’s flowers. I can definitely say this is the most well put together bouquets that had sunflowers in it.
Framer for the parents :)
Beautiful bride.
Moving on to some after ceremony photos. Bart & Cassie booked it up this big hill to take some photos before the sun set.
And here we go… Love!Sweet couple. Loving on her man!Another fun one of Cassie with the vineyard in the vineyard in the background. One last picture before all my light was gone.
Come back tomorrow to see how the wedding day unfolds!
